🌟 Refurbished Playdate Systems • Coming March 25

Soon we'll be dropping an (extremely) limited stock of certified refurbished Playdate systems. These have either been fully refreshed at our factory, or might have very minor cosmetic issues — either way, they work great, play games perfectly, and even include a six-month limited warranty. And they're just $179. If price has kept you from buying a Playdate, we're hopeful these great systems might help. These will be available on March 25th, 2025.

💸 Last Chance To Get Playdate for $199 • Goes Up on March 25

Yeah, so, guess what: after getting up and running at our new factory, they soon let us know that it would cost quite a bit more to make a Playdate than it did at our previous factory. We were not very excited to hear this! (What next?!) But as a result, on March 25th, brand new Playdate systems will be priced at $229.

It seemed important to give you a heads up before this happened — if you’ve been on the fence, we didn't want the price to unexpectedly change on you. So: this is the very last week you can buy a brand new Playdate at the current price of $199. Act quickly if interested. And thanks for your understanding, always.

🍺 Incredible Root Bear Update!

Everyone's favorite viral Playdate game recently got an incredible update, with new game modes, more music, and global scoreboards. This is very important news.

♻️ New Playdate Box!

We've recently debuted a new, super tiny box for the Playdate. It's now 100% recyclable (no foam!) and is easier to ship. It's also way cuter, imho.

2️⃣ Season Two is Coming!

In case you missed this news, we're working with some incredible developers to put together Playdate Season Two, a brand-new bundle of incredible Playdate games, delivered to your system on a schedule, just like Season One! We can't say much more right now, but stay tuned for more information later this year.
